Changes That Should Be Seen

Now that the GE is over, I wished that the manifestos had included the following.

India Jane Home Interiors
  1. More childcare leaves ( 2 days per year at age 12 is ridiculously low) for up to age 18 for the youngest child. This is more for families with special needs children. You would think that kids are able to visit the doctor by themselves and pay for their own medical fees. Like they earn money or something.
  2. Be more flexible for parents who need to work flexible hours. There are too few companies that allow flexibility in working from home.
  3. Walk the talk, if you tell the companies to get people to work from home during the Circuit Breaker, then the examples should be shown and not just talk big.
  4. There are groups of people who need to take care of their parents. Provide options for Parent Care Leaves and if the elderlies are important, then, allow more of such leaves.

If we can’t take care of our families, how do we take care of the country?
